Eligibility-Education, Training and Experience

Candidates intending to attend advanced NDT courses shall have sufficient formal education, basic training and experience.

According to ASNT SNT TC 1A-2024, for PAUT Level II certification, candidate shall undergo training of 80 hours. In addition, 320 hours of relevant experience in performing PAUT is essential. Whereas for TOFD technique, 40 hours of training and 320 hours of experience in carrying out TOFD on engineering materials.

For Computed Radiography(CR) and Digital Radiography(DR) he/she shall receive adequate training in Radiation Safety specified by Atomic Energy Regulatory Board(AERB), Mumbai.
